Poor use of time creates a range of problems - under performance, job dissatisfaction, work overload and stress. However, there are many benefits to good time management. One of the first steps in this time management workshop is to help delegates understand that time management is not impossible. It is about how we manage ourselves and others at work, and the degree to which we take ownership of time thieves, particularly if imposed by other people. Influencing plays a role in this workshop by encouraging the delegates to reduce blaming others and think about how they can influence, to get more of what they want.
