Who is it for?:
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is designed to provide an introduction to teaching for those who would like to work or currently work within FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities.
Suitable for:

Individuals not currently teaching or training.

Individuals currently teaching and training, including those new to the profession.

Individuals currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching.
Pre-requisites:
Candidates must be aged 19 + and have evidence of English and mathematics assessments. It is also preferable that you have an idea of what you would like to be teaching.
Course Content Includes:
Learners are required to gather knowledge about the role and responsibilities of a teacher. During the course, they will be encouraged to develop skills which will enable them to plan, deliver and evaluate basic teaching and learning sessions.
Learners must produce a portfolio of evidence that will meet the learning outcomes for the units that have been selected and the practical micro-teach session, which is held for one day at the Nuneaton training centre.

HABC Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF).
