The objective of this course is to improve the communication skills within the business environment.

What does the training cover?

The training course covers:


  • The benefits of improved communication skills.

  • Appreciation of your own communication style when dealing with others.

  • The differences between assertive, aggressive and passive behaviours.

  • The 3 steps to assertive behaviour.

  • Understanding the influencing techniques of broken record and self disclosure.

  • Appreciate when written communication is most appropriate.

  • The do's and dont's of email.

  • Enhanced listening skills.

  • The difference between open, closed and probing questioning.

  • Effective questioning techniques using T.E.D.

  • Know and apply the funneling technique.

Courses can be delivered at our Nuneaton training venue or at your own premises*.
