I am a fully qualified Podiatrist that was looking for somewhere to do my annual basic life training. First Safety Training Services offered me what I was looking for and then some. The office staff were efficient and very helpful when booking my course and the course educator was amazing too. The day was informative and was delivered by a highly qualified instructor who put you at ease and made you feel confident going forward. Therefore, I would highly recommend this company for any training, especially first aid and will be booking on again soon, hopefully with some of my colleagues. Thank you for a great day. John
"The course was interesting and engaging, David understood different people’s learning techniques which helped me to take away so much knowledge. It covered a range of first aid that would be required in my workplace. After attending this course I feel confident in giving first aid".
"I thought David Higginson was a fantastic teacher. He got everything across clearly and was very approachable. Its another string to my bow and I'm proud to be able to say that I'm a qualified first aider. Still buzzing from the course and look forward to adding more strings. Many thanks & please pass my thanks again onto David".
"Having undertaken training on the 'First Aid Level 3' course with First Safety Training Services Ltd (FSTS), I would like to express my thanks. The trainer, Alison Higginson, along with the FSTS team made the learning experience an enjoyable one. The learning materials were presented in a manner that were easy to follow; allowing time for points to be discussed in detail. This in-turn assisted in laying down new learning and making the experience a very inclusive one. Alison made herself available to learners during the allocated break times and was very supportive to all the attendees throughout the day. Thank you all at FSTS.”

"I would like to thank and congratulate First Safety Training Services for their Trainer and Assessor courses. I found that by already being an experienced trainer the courses were superb and set at an easy pace, even better I learnt a lot more that I thought I would.
Many of the things I learnt I think about or use each day, inclusion, learning styles, lesson planning and most importantly feedback, to name a few examples.
I was always keen on feedback and I realise today that feedback positive or negative has added value for the Trainer, Assessor or even the Learner.
Anybody delivering training or on the job mentoring especially if they are formally recording results, need to have some form of recognised training or certification. The days of just having the experience to do the job or task is not enough, it’s all about providing knowledge and instruction in a structured way and noting the results, then following up ensuring we all are working to safe systems and best practice processes.
The FSTS Trainer and Assessor courses more than fulfill the requirements needed and I cannot recommend them highly enough."

"I have done over 10 First Aid courses over the past 30 years and the course taught by Alison at FSTS was by far the best course I have ever been on. I learnt more in this one course than I did from all of the 10 I have previously done put together. I would like to thank Alison for all of her hard work and dedication and I hope to do more courses in the future with your company!"
